Rely on Environment Variables for Settings/Secret
Currently we rely on the user (in this case scripting) to set Django variables such as Debug and the like. Additionally we have .template files and are unable to have the actual settings.py and secret.py as that information is confidential. However, if we were to move to reliance on the user setting up enviornment variables then this could be allivated. You will need to update settings.py and secret.py to rely on variable names (of your choosing) then in the README include instructions on how to set those up. You could even write a script that prompts the user to set these vars up.
