Nobody uses IRC, Let's get rid of it from the homepage and replace it with Slack.
At some point last semester, I joined the SRCT IRC channel, and it was not active at all. If I knew about your Slack team before OpenHatch I surely would have joined. Adding Slack to the homepage would increase visibility of it to newcomers.
